- My vintage club guys and gal spread the word about my blowup at the FoT event at MOSPORT and next thing I knew my old TR4's driver door was emblazoned my new nickname, Robert "Fireball" Kramer. I heard from some of my fellow FoT that it was spectacular. When #3 broke it took out both sides of the block sending oil onto the exhaust. That fireball was followed quickly by another when the accumulator dumped it's load. All this happened at Turn 1 in the first hot lap of a practice session that I got to early enough to have the faster TR's right on my tail. It was also right in front of all the assembled FoT fans including Kas. He congratulated me for getting my anger under control and stopping myself from throwing my helmet mid-toss. I'll never forget it. He said that the good drivers take care of the equipment. The gloves went flying instead.

- Current car 1966 TR4A that raced in the ARRC in Daytona 1n 1967 as an alternate and as SW Division DP Champ, owned and driven by Bob Stewart. Previous cars 1962 TR4 (now Hisashi Kunie-Japan) and 1959 TR3A (now Larry Young-Tulsa,OK)
